Museums & Shopping

I could have spent all day in the Moderna Museet. The Fotografiska was interesting, but the exhibits in the Modern Museum were very interesting. They ranged all the way from Yoko Ono (bought her book!), to Warhol, to Nitsch. Nitsch's work definitely requires an acquired taste to appreciate... but nonetheless was extraordinary. He uses theatrical and agressive painting performances and body art combined with rituals and religion. Beyond intriguing. One part of the Fotografiska that I really enjoyed was all of Sally Mann's work. Some of her work is a little stomach-churning/provocative, just advising if anyone goes to look up her work. Same goes for Hermann Nitsch.

Tomorrow will be our last day in Stockholm before we head off to Halmstad for the Midsummers festival with the cousins! We will get to Milesgoten and some last minute shopping. God natt!

The Fotografiska had a bunch of sports/Olympics shots from over the years. You could try on a Swedish team jacket and stand on the Podium.
